94% of Prospective Buyers Want iPad tablet

NEW YORK - The latest survey Baird Research & Insights
reiterated that the iPad is still
the number one choice of
prospective buyers tablet.



The survey revealed that the
dominating option iPad Baird
approximately 1100
respondents (94.5 percent), the
output iconic Apple tablet
makes it increasingly untouched by its competitors.


Occupying the position of the
two choices of respondents
were TouchPad from Hewlett-
Packard (10.4 percent),
followed by Motorola Xoom
(8.5 percent) and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (8.5 percent).

Meanwhile, Research In Motion
output Playbook able to attract
only 3.8 per cent of
respondents. Playbook even
still less than the HTC Flyer (4.3
percent).


When examined, four tablets in
the survey (IPAD, TouchPad,
Xoom and the Galaxy) have
one thing in common, namely
the size of the screen reaches
10 inches. Playbook while carrying a larger 'mini' is 7
inches.


Following the launch of the
Playbook, RIM admits she still
has not been thought to
release a new tablet with a
size of 10 inches. But seeing
the results of this survey, it could be a Canadian company
that will change his mind.

consumers in the age group 30
to 40 years are most interested
in buying the tablets, while the age group 18 to 22 years at
least interested in shopping for
a tablet.

Baird Research also highlighted

been able to replace the
presence of a PC. The reason, as much as 83 percent of
survey participants admitted
that they could not live
without a PC.
