Delivery Tablet 'Explode' Up to 250 Million in 2017

TabletNEW YORK - A recent study by market research firm In-Stat says that tablet deliveries to 2017 are compressed, accelerated to 250 million units.
Based on In-Stat estimates, IOS and Android will control 90 percent of global tablet market. Meanwhile, Windows will occupy the third position with a much smaller share than the two competitors. Similarly, reported by Cnet, on Tuesday (08/23/2011).

If the estimate is actually realized, this will be a significant growth in the tablet market. Earlier this year, DigiTimes claims that iPad shipments will reach 35 and 36 million units this year, while the tablets Android reached 19 to 20 million units. Next year that number is expected to rise to 55 million (IPAD) and 45 million (Android).

In-Stat asserts that only firms that trend will taste success in the future. In other words, vendors who do not support "one of the OS market leader" in danger of collapse due to "lack of application support".

The prediction has come true last week, when Hewlett-Packard (HP) has decided to stop using his webOS platform across all devices, including tablets TouchPad her.

Furthermore, In-Stat also warned the vendors to produce tablets with a large screen display. According to them, in 2017, a tablet with a screen size of 9 to 11 inches will control 56 percent market share.
