Hitachi HDR
Hitachi Data Systems (Hitachi) provide enhanced capabilities on-line protection and replication software Hitachi Dynamic Data Replicator (HDR).

This increase is aimed at helping large corporations to meet the target recovery time (recovery time objective-RTO) and recovery point target (recovery point objective-RPO) for data and applications on local and remote located, including Microsoft Exchange, SQL Server and Oracle.

"Hitachi Dynamic Replicator enables customers to meet this need by collecting and replicating data and changes, so the data is almost always available to be restored, but remains transparent to the system files, applications and networks," said Sean Moser, vice president of Hitachi Storage Software Product Management, was quoted as saying through its official statement on Thursday(25/08/2011).

"Hitachi Dynamic Solutions Replicator helps businesses have a disaster recovery system is cost effective, extensively developed and can integrate well with existing infrastructure in use today," said Terrance Maximus Tangit, managing director of Hitachi Data Systems Indonesian & ASEAN Emerging Markets.

Hitachi Dynamic Replicator reinforced by InMage Systems uses a special hybrid technology to record data changes in real-time flexibility in order to reach this point in time recovery of data at any time previously.

The new HDR offers a more extensive cluster support according to the needs of enterprise-class environments, including Oracle RAC, AIX, Linux and Solaris. HDR is the only product on the market that is integrated and has a continuous data protection(continuous data protection - CDP) PureSplit for all enterprise platforms.

CDP technology is dividing the data for replication but still transparently by the file system and applications. Here are some improvements in the HDR for a large corporation.
